Daft Punk to release 25th Anniversary edition of “Homework”

Daft Punk is releasing a special deluxe edition of their outstanding debut album, “Homework” in April to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

The instrumental track “Da Funk” was initially released as a 12-inch single in 1995 and it’s accompanying video was directed by Spike Jonze.

“Around the World” became a global success.  Interestingly the song’s only lyrics ‘around the world’ are said 144 times.

The 2022 deluxe edition of “Homework” has been repackaged with new remixes, nine of which were previously unavailable on digital platforms, including Masters At Work, DJ Sneak, Todd Terry, Motorbass, Slam, Ian Pooley, I:Cube, Roger Sanchez & Junior Sanchez.

Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo parted ways in 2021 after almost three decades together.
